A little bit about Maria & Jesus

I am a former teacher and now full time business owner, wife + stay at home mama. Our Nest Events was created when I had the desire to stay home with our first born. It originally started as a hobby creating cake toppers, stadium cups, banners, and other small party supplies. As the orders started to increase my ideas grew! So eventually we took a leap of faith. After endless tutorials, classes, and research I learned all about balloons & photoshop, because I wanted to ensure our clients receive top quality services and products. Now here we are, ready to style and assist you with all your balloon and party needs! Beyond grateful that I get to do what I love, stay home with my little ones and get to work with my husband. It’s a win-win for me!

Jesus is a full time firefighter, business owner, husband and the best daddy ever to our three girls. He is the muscle behind Our Nest Events, he builds props, backdrops, does all the heavy lifting and even does a little ballooning! Mind you, he had no clue how to even tie a balloon when we first started this business. Safe to say he’s come a long way. But seriously, there isn’t a thing he can’t do!
